Lavendran Nair

Associate

Lavendran Nair read law in University of Liverpool, UK and was admitted to the Honourable Society of Middle Temple in 2024 as a Barrister-At-Law of England and Wales.

Prior to his call to the English Bar, Lavendran commenced his legal journey as an intern at Messrs Preakas & Partners, where he gained early exposure to litigation practice and court proceedings. This foundational experience paved the way for him to later complete his pupillage at the same firm under the guidance and tutelage of Mr. Preakas Sampunathan and senior members of the firm.

Upon completion of his pupillage, Lavendran was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor at the High Court of Malaya and thereafter he continued his practice as a Legal Associate with Messrs Preakas & Partners, where he has been actively involved in a wide range of civil and criminal matters across various levels of the Malaysian courts. His training and continued practice within a litigation-focused environment have equipped him with strong advocacy skills, strategic legal thinking, and hands-on courtroom experience.
